THE UNCOLLECTIBLES
In my work I had to learn the use of AI, so in my dreams of collecting the bizarre and wonderful, a huge and unexplored world of imagination has opened up!
Through complex algorithms it's possible to create entire collections of what I like to call -the Uncollectibles-, because we can see them, admire them but not really own them physically.
So I opened my mind to the possibility of creating something visually curious but which I have never seen in reality, botanical models of unknown species, impossible dioramas, rare compositions of corals and minerals from other planets, never made paintings and artefacts of a non-existent past. So I would share some of these objects with you here for the pleasure of seeing and imagining the collection of the Uncollectibles together.

On a stormy night, the statue of the Virgin Mary began to shed shimmering tears that silently glided down her face. The faithful, witnessing the miracle, gathered these tears and discovered that they transformed into small, glistening pearls.
News of the miraculous tears spread quickly, drawing pilgrims from every corner of the world. The statue was placed in a separate chapel, surrounded by cases containing the precious pearls born from her tears.
Each year, on September 8th, the faithful adorn the statue with jewelry crafted from the pearls shed by the virgin Mary. The legend teaches of the deep empathy of our Lady of Pearls and her love for humanity.
The pearls formed from her tears became symbols of hope, purification, and protection. Thus, our Lady of Pearls became a beloved and venerated figure, invoked for comfort in times of hardship and solace in sorrow.
His workshop, hidden among ancient trees, was a magical place where his expert hands transformed precious materials into unique works of art.
It is said that one day, in a dream, he was struck by a remarkable vision. A mysterious messenger, dressed in ancient garments, appeared to him and revealed the secret of life and death. The messenger urged him to create works of art that would serve as reminders of life’s fleeting nature and the inevitability of death. Thus, the artisan tradition of ivory and coral Memento Mori was born.
The first Memento Mori he created depicted a human figure wrapped in a delicate embrace of coral, symbolizing the fragility of life. The eyes of the piece seemed to gaze upon the world with eternal wisdom, while the finely sculpted details highlighted the ephemeral beauty of existence. This creation, called The Awakening of Consciousness, became the prototype for a new series of artworks that celebrated the duality between the beauty of life and the certainty of death.
News of the artisan’s extraordinary creations spread quickly, and people from all corners of the kingdom traveled to the village to acquire a Memento Mori in memory of their departed loved ones. His works became symbols of wisdom and contemplation.
As time passed, the legend of the enlightened artisan grew and became enriched with new details. It was said that his creations had the power to connect the world of the living with that of the dead, transforming objects not only into works of art but also into channels through which the souls of the departed could communicate with their loved ones.

He was renowned for his extraordinary collection of incredible creatures, beings that seemed to come from distant, unknown worlds.
People from every corner of the globe traveled to see his marvelous chimeras—creatures that appeared to be the result of fantastic and impossible crossings. Among them were a chupacabra, a sea pig, and other beings that defied any attempt at classification within the familiar.
The Chimerist, an elderly man with a piercing gaze, fervently claimed that every creature in his collection was authentic, brought from remote and untouched lands. He told captivating tales of his journeys to unexplored places, where he had discovered these unique beings.
However, dissenting voices were not lacking among the people. Some insisted that the Chimerist was merely a cunning creator, an alchemist gifted with the ability to fuse living beings together, bringing forth creatures never before seen. According to this version, his chimeras were nothing more than the product of his secret arts and ingenuity.
Despite the conflicting opinions, the Chimerist continued to build his reputation as an extraordinary man. His chimeras were not for sale, and his dwelling became a pilgrimage site for lovers of the marvelous and for those seeking to uncover the truth behind his fantastic creatures.
It was said that these reliquaries had been created centuries earlier by a virtuous monk known as the Master Oculist. The few remaining specimens were extremely rare, and the notes on their creation were written in an unknown and indecipherable language.
The reliquaries were highly sought after for their ability to reveal the hidden truth behind appearances. People from every corner of the kingdom traveled to the convent to consult the magical eyes, especially when they had to face important decisions or seek answers to questions that the ordinary world could not satisfy.
However, with growing fame came greed. A ruthless merchant, drawn by the promise of wealth, tried to steal one of the reliquaries to sell it to the highest bidder. But the Master Oculist, foreseeing this eventuality, had enchanted the eyes so that they could only be taken by those with pure intentions.
So, when the merchant approached with greed, he was suddenly blinded by a blinding light and became blind.
The convent remained a sacred place, a keeper of secrets and wisdom, accessible only to those who approached with a sincere heart.
The lesson of the story was clear: true power is destined for those who seek the truth for the greater good.

It was during a bold expedition that a group of explorers discovered this unspoiled place. Passing through a natural arch formed by colossal trees and wading across unknown streams, the group noticed something that at first appeared to be the eggs of a tropical bird. However, these eggs were strikingly different: they varied in size, color, and placement. Some were buried in the earth, others hung from trees by delicate filaments, while others blended seamlessly among the pebbles of the streams; some even emitted a faint luminescence in the darkness.
Each egg held an indescribable mystery, an intrinsic enigma that lured the explorers with an irresistible curiosity.
Driven by a desire to understand, some decided to break a few shells to uncover the truth behind them. Yet, at the moment of rupture, the fragile shells released small bursts of dust that enveloped their faces. The explorers were overwhelmed by visions and memories, reliving moments from lives they had never known, marveling at impossible fractals, and absorbing the wisdom of the untouched forests.
To this day, no one knows the true location of Eldoria; the explorers who came into contact with the eggs' fumes understood that they could not—must not—be taken away from that pristine place. None of them lived long enough to describe the exact path to Eldoria.
Thus, this land remains veiled in legend, though some collectors swear they possess Eldoria’s eggs in their private collections, zealously guarded and never displayed to the public.
Legend tells that the Qinghua lineage guarded an ancestral secret: the ability to infuse their androids with Qi, the universal life energy. This process not only transformed the androids into extraordinary works of art but also animated them, granting them intelligence and consciousness.
The Qinghua carefully selected fragments of decorated porcelain from the most remote regions of China, believing that each piece held a unique story and a portion of Qi. The resulting androids were true walking masterpieces, adorned with delicate floral motifs, scenic landscapes, and finely painted details on their porcelain surfaces.
The Decorated Porcelain Men became guardians of ancient treasures, protectors of sacred temples, and companions to emperors and artists. They were distinguished by the mastery of their craftsmanship: the most delicate and human-like ones were destined for imperial palaces, while the sturdier ones were assigned to demanding tasks or displayed in outdoor settings. They were known for their ability to learn and adapt to their surroundings, interacting with humans and animals in astonishingly lifelike ways.
As centuries passed, however, the intricate art of the Qinghua Xingren was forgotten, replaced by simpler and more efficient mechanical and technological devices. The Decorated Porcelain Men became lost relics, hidden in abandoned temples, forgotten palaces, and remote caves.
It is said that the Qinghua lineage still guards its secret, hoping that one day balance will be restored and their creations will once again be revered as a sacred and respected art form.

After years of research and experimentation, Dr. Winterbourne had a groundbreaking idea. He discovered a formula to create a chemical solution capable of preserving the crystalline structure of snowflakes without altering their shape or compromising their fragility, even at high temperatures.
Euphoric over his success, the doctor began collecting snowflakes and other frozen natural elements during his solitary walks. He handled each crystal with extreme care, gently immersing it in his solution. To ensure perfect preservation, he developed special microscope slides coated with a thin layer of his chemical formula. These slides allowed for the observation of the most intricate details of snowflakes without the risk of them melting or deteriorating.
To further enhance the beauty of his collection, Winterbourne collaborated with local artists, who painted miniature landscapes depicting the places where the crystals had been gathered, adding an artistic touch to his scientific discoveries.
Dr. Winterbourne’s story inspired many other scientists to explore new ways to preserve the fragility and beauty of nature. His discovery became a symbol of how science can not only understand the natural world but also protect it for future generations.
The legend tells that, during a religious ceremony, a group of wise Maya shamans noticed a mysterious light coming from the depths of the cenote. Fascinated by the vision, they decided to explore those dark depths to discover the origin of that divine light.
Inside the underground cave, they made an astonishing discovery: mysterious skulls lay at the center of the cave, each decorated with iridescent crystal formations growing on their surface.
Unable to explain the origin of these objects, the Maya began to believe that these skulls were tools of connection with the gods, a means through which the ancient deities communicated with the shamans.
The fate of that civilization remains shrouded in mystery; no traces have been found, and it is as if they vanished into thin air.
Over the centuries, some of these crystallized skulls were recovered and taken from their original resting place, ending up in the hands of wealthy merchants who dismantled the precious crystal formations to sell them as jewelry.
In modern times, some of these ancient artifacts have resurfaced, scattered in private collections around the world. The crystal formations adorning the skulls are considered unique jewels, symbols of an ancestral bond with the Maya gods.
Today, numerous efforts have been made to return these treasures to their original resting place, with the aim of restoring the sanctity of the Cenote of Spirits and preserving the connection between the divine and the human for future generations.

A team of biologists unveils an extraordinary species of brightly colored snakes with vibrant feathers.
February 28, 2039
Amazon Rainforest, Brazil.
On an expedition aimed at exploring the uncharted depths of the Amazon Rainforest, a team of biologists made an exceptional discovery: a series of feathered snake species, a group previously unknown in the vast array of Amazonian fauna.
Indigenous tribes of the Amazon Rainforest have long told ancient stories and myths that often involve serpentine creatures, some of which surprisingly resemble the features of the newly discovered feathered snakes. Quetzalcoatl, a deity revered in many indigenous cultures, is described as a winged serpent with radiant feathers symbolizing its connection between the sky and the earth.
As experts study these new species, astonishing details about their life and behavior emerge. Contrary to expectations, the feathers on the snakes serve not only aesthetic purposes but also provide exceptional adaptations for survival in the dense jungle vegetation.
Similar to bird feathers, the plumage helps the feathered snakes move silently through the jungle, and the coloration of some specimens provides perfect camouflage among leaves and branches. Additionally, it is believed that the feathers may play a role in sexual attraction and communication among members of the same species.
Race for Conservation
The discovery of the feathered snakes not only opens up new scientific perspectives but also creates an exciting bridge between the mythological past of indigenous tribes and the present-day biological research. This connection between local mythology and modern biology adds an extra layer of meaning to the already extraordinary discovery of feathered snakes in the Amazon Rainforest.

But what truly made the jade bees exceptional was not just their green honey, but the nests they built. Their nests were not mere wax structures, but intricate weavings of jade crystals, turning the nests into living works of art, like mineral sculptures that reflected the sunlight in shifting colors.
When news of these wonders spread, scientists, artists, and collectors from all over the world were fascinated by this unprecedented discovery. The nests of the jade bees became the subject of intense study and desire. Experts from every field rushed to the remote mountains, determined to study and capture these natural works of art.
Unfortunately, human greed knows no bounds, and soon unscrupulous individuals began to plunder the jade bees' nests, disregarding the delicate balance of the ecosystem. The nests were dismantled and taken away to be transformed into sculptures for display in private collections and museums worldwide.
Despite the efforts of environmental groups to protect the jade bees and their habitat, their population dwindled drastically, making the green honey produced by these rare creatures even more precious. Those who were fortunate enough to taste this extraordinary honey considered it a true treasure, an elixir of life that promised healing and prosperity.
Today, the nests of the jade bees have become a legend, a memory of an era when nature and art merged into a single marvel.
